N2XCY s a low voltage power cable with a concentric conductor of copper wires and tape for protective earth / neutral connections. It is widely used in European power distribution applications, including transformer stations and industrial plants, holding a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-1 and DIN VDE 0276-603.  The N2XCY cable is PVC sheathed, providing a flame retardant covering and XLPE insulated for a maximum conductor operating temperature of 90oC. The N2XCY multi core power cable is designed for internal and external installation environments. Designed for internal and external use, it can be installed underground with additional protection. N2XCY Cable is for static application in ground, in water, within facilities, in cable canals, in concrete, in conditions where there is a danger of possible mechanical damages, but where the cable is not exposed either to systematic mechanical stress or heavier tensile strain. Concentric conductor can be used as neutral, protective or earth connection, and in conditions where it is exposed to danger of damages caused by digging, it acts as protection against contact voltage, in case of rough insulation damage.
