1. Introduction of sprinkler wire

Sprinkler wire is also named Sprinkler Systems Wire.  These cables are intended for direct burial, 30V 150V  300V or 600V max service for satellite solenoid control on golf courses and lawns, terminated to Listed Type UF or USE Cable.

Sprinkler wire is specially engineered to a sprinkler controller to sprinkler valves and valve manifolds. Each insulated strand has an 18AWG wire in it and the strands are further protected with a UV-resistant jacket. Sprinkler wire is suitable for underground burial and withstands water and freezing. Use wire cutters to strip the wire from each strand.

In order to protect the wire from possible corrosion, you should use waterproof wire connectors at all valve solenoids and at any place where you are splicing wires and moisture could be present. For outdoor irrigation use cold water only.

2. Sprinkler wire features

  • DURABLE AND WEATHER RESISTANT: Sprinkler wires are made of high-quality materials that can withstand harsh weather conditions, including heat, heavy rain, and strong sunlight.
  • Easy to install: Sprinkler wires are easy to install and come in different lengths for a variety of applications. It is also flexible and can be easily bent and moved through different areas of the garden or field.
  • Precise Control: Sprinkler wire provides precise control of water flow in irrigation systems, enabling users to set different water distribution modes and control water flow in different areas of the garden or field.

3. Sprinkler wire benefits:

  • Increases Water Efficiency: Helps ensure that the right amount of water is applied to each area of the garden or field, reducing water waste and helping to conserve resources.
  • Increased crop yields: Proper water distribution provided by high-quality Irrigation cables can help increase crop yields by delivering the right amount of water to plants at the right time.
  • SAVE TIME AND ENERGY: Compared to manual watering methods, automatic irrigation systems controlled by irrigation cables save time and effort, freeing up time for other tasks.

4. Sprinkler wire application:

Agricultural Irrigation: sprinkler wires are widely used in agricultural applications to control the flow of water in irrigation systems, helping farmers save resources and increase crop yields.

Landscaping: Also used in landscaping to control water flow in lawn sprinkler systems to ensure plants, flowers, and other landscaping features get the right amount of water.

5. Sprinkler wire precautions:

  • Electrical Safety: Operates on electrical signals, so it is important to ensure that cables are properly installed and connected to avoid electrical hazards.
  • Installation: It should be installed by a qualified professional who has the knowledge and expertise required to properly install the cable.
  • Maintenance: Cables should be inspected and maintained regularly to ensure their proper functioning and avoid any potential problems.

High-quality Irrigation cables are an essential part of modern irrigation systems, enabling precise and efficient control of water flow in agricultural and landscaping applications. With their weather-resistant construction, ease of installation, and precise control, irrigation cables offer many benefits and are ideal for farmers, gardeners, and landscapers alike.

6. Feature of the Sprinkler wire

Good electrical conductivity No. 20 – 8 AWG, solid or stranded, bare or tinned copper.

Robust and DurableThe performance of Solid Sprinkler System Wire is consolidus and perdurable. Designed to suit harsh conditions, it ensures sustained, corrosion-free irrigation performance, a steadfast choice for enduring and reliable watering solutions.

Ideal for lawn/farm irrigationDesigned for lawn/farm/golf course irrigation.  Sprinkler System Wire facilitates communication between the control systems and sprinklers, ensuring efficient and even watering. It is  ability for withstanding harsh weather and remains durable, ensuring its reliability when used outdoors.

7. Detail of the Sprinkler wire

9. FAQ

Q: Can use any size for sprinkler wire?

A: There are many sizes of sprinkler wire. Typically, you can use 18-gauge wire if the length of the wire (not the distance) from the controller to the valve is less than 200 feet, and it’s being installed as a residential system, says

Q: How many cores are for the sprinkler cable?

A: Sprinkler cable is generally one wire bundle with many strands of smaller 18-gauge wire inside it. Wire Strands: These strands usually come in 3 to 8 wires but can go up to 12 or more.

Q: What’s the voltage for the sprinkler cable?

A: There are 4 kinds of voltage for sprinkler wire to meet with sprinkler system different requirements.  The voltage is as below: 30V, 150V, 300V, 600V.
